Prime Edition were delighted to welcome project partners to celebrate the topping out of Tintern Toorak Village, marking a significant milestone in the project’s delivery.
A long-standing construction tradition, topping out commemorates the moment a building reaches its highest structural point. More than a construction milestone, it represents the stage where a vision begins to take tangible form. For Prime Edition, Tintern Toorak Village is a particularly meaningful project. It marks the first development to be designed by our in-house design team, under the leadership of Zachary Yiu, reflecting our ongoing commitment to design excellence.
As construction progresses, the carefully considered material palette that underpins the project’s identity will begin to emerge. Handcrafted brickwork, natural stone and refined detailing will bring depth, texture and permanence to the architecture, creating a building designed to sit comfortably within Toorak’s established streetscape for generations to come.
Tintern Toorak Village is the product of a highly collaborative process. We are proud to be working alongside Hecker Guthrie, Acre and Henny, partners who share our commitment to quality, precision and design integrity.
In keeping with the tradition of topping out ceremonies, a Laurus nobilis (Bay Tree) was brought to the rooftop as a symbolic marker of the milestone. Representing growth, longevity and good fortune, the tree also references the landscape vision for Tintern Toorak Village, where 32 Bay Trees will feature within the ground-floor landscaping defining the arrival experience for residents.
Reflecting the project’s design philosophy, the interiors by Hecker Guthrie have been thoughtfully curated in response to Toorak’s refined character, with a focus on timeless materials, enduring liveability and enhancing the everyday experience of residents. Together with the architecture and landscape design, the result is a highly considered residential offering that balances sophistication, comfort and longevity.
With the structure reaching its highest point, the project enters its next phase as the vision for Tintern Toorak Village continues to come to life. We look forward to sharing further progress as we move towards completion and thank everyone who joined us to celebrate this important milestone.
