Avoca, south yarra has been awarded development of the year, small-scale residential (4-10 homes) at the urban developer excellence awards 2026.
Prime Edition is proud to announce that Avoca, South Yarra has been awarded Development of the Year – Small-Scale Residential (4–10 Homes) at The Urban Developer Excellence Awards 2026, held at The Star Gold Coast.
The recognition celebrates a project that challenged conventional thinking and demonstrates the value of thoughtful design, collaboration and commitment to quality. What began as an abandoned concrete structure has been transformed into a collection of five whole-floor residences and an irreplaceable luxury home, carefully considered within South Yarra’s prestigious Domain Hill precinct.
Earlier that day, Prime Edition Director Alistair Taylor and Henny Managing Director Ben Turner presented the Avoca case study at Urbanity 2026, sharing insights from the project’s delivery and reflecting on the partnerships that helped realise the vision.
The project was also named a finalist for Excellence in Design Innovation, recognising the ingenuity and collaborative approach that underpinned its success.
